Loose stools or coccidian can be caused by stress and can develop within hours into transport and nothing to do with bad/good breeding. We recommend that a stool sample be analyzed within 48 hours of the puppy arriving to its new home. To assure that the puppy has no internal intestinal parasites. Therefore all puppies going to new homes need a stool sample by the buyers vet to make sure the puppy not developed any such problems. If such a problem a rises the buyers full responsibility to care for the puppy and will not hold the breeder accountable in any way. The breeder has administered the basic de-worm product recommended by the breeders Vet and cannot be held accountable for a problem arising after puppy is delivered to the buyer. The guarantee does not cover parasites internal or external. If any legal disputes between buyer and seller arise all legal action must take place in the State of Indiana in the county of Jackson County.
Let's go over some important DON'T DO'S once you bring home your new puppy
💚Please Read our suggestions💚
🚫Do NOT stop at a rest area for your puppy to potty; instead use disposable potty pads and line them in your vehicle for puppy to go potty
🚫Do NOT take your puppy on walks around your neighborhood, or let them outside where birds have pooped. Birds Carry PARVO. Even though poop is gone PARVO can stay on surface up to 1 year. Be safe keep your baby inside until it has had at least 3 vaccines. Take your shoes off before you go inside your home. You can carry Parvo on the bottoms of your shoes as well. It takes less than a grain of salt size of the parvo virus for your baby to get sick.
🚫Absolutely do NOT take your puppy to dog parks until they are FULLY vaccinated (it takes at minimum 2-3 weeks before its effective)
🚫Do NOT allow a bunch of people to pet your dog, LESS is best and calmer for your pup
🚫Do NOT put your puppy on the ground at your vets office!!!!!!! (biggest mistake I see)
They are NOT fully vaccinated until they have had 3-4 puppy series of distemper/parvo vaccines, rabies and/or bordetella. Yes, they absolutely can catch airborne diseases and become sick (including PARVO, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, etc).
🚫Do NOT allow many visitors the first 3-6 weeks at minimum. This is a crucial bonding period between you and your puppy also to establish a routine for them, less is best
🚫 Do NOT allow your puppy around other un-vaccinated dogs
🚫Do NOT be afraid you will offend people by telling them please don't touch my puppy him/her is/isn't fully vaccinated
🚫 Do NOT be afraid to speak your mind/voice your opinion to your veterinarian about policies, health contracts you have in place with your breeder and be sure they are listening BECAUSE believe it or not they aren't always right or know what's best when it comes to our breed!
If you don't know, are unsure of anything please reach out to your breeder or someone with knowledge to help guide you :)
